Love Spells, Just in time for Valentine's Day!

Just in time for Valentine's Day, new loves spell magnets! These would make great Valentine's Day gifts!

A love spell in a magnet! This magnet uses the magick of stones, color and essential oil, plus the power of words. What a great Valentine’s Day gift!

With red, pink and white, this piece utilizes the colors of love. It contains genuine rose quartz which attracts love! A little heart charm adds to the love vibe. To further emphasize the point, there is a little word bead that says, “kiss.” Inside is a tiny drop of rose essential oil, also a love attractor.

Put it on your refrigerator, in your bedroom, in your office or even in your car.

The lining of this magnet is red fiber paper, inside a round tin with a glass top. The outside is wrapped with a white ribbon with little red hearts.

The magnet is 2” (5.8 cm) across and 1” (2.5) deep.

Brighid, bringer of snowdrops

My recent computer problems have left me with no internet access for about two weeks. During that time, with no online distractions, I have managed to complete a lot of work and have learned that I spend far too much time online! Now that (it seems) I have a working computer again, I intend to re-open my online shop at etsy in the next few days, and will be listing Brighid, bringer of snowdrops very soon. Brighid is a cloth doll, made from painted cotton fabric. She wears a pale green silk dress with silk chiffon overlay and trim, and a dark green crushed velvet cloak with a hood. She will either sit or stand, and is approximately 50cm tall.
Brighid brings the first signs of spring; as the goddess wakes from her winter sleep and walks upon the earth, snowdrops spring up from where her feet have touched the ground. She brings the cold, sleeping earth back to warmth and new life. Brighid is come; Brighid is welcome.

These necklaces are much prettier in person, as I am not the greatest photographer.

Thanks and brightest blessings.

Brighid

Brighid, a fire Goddess from the Celtic pantheon, is honored at Imbolc. She represents the mother, fertility and creative inspiration. She is also a healer and protector of children. My Brighid painting has been chosen for the 2008 Imbolc cover of Broomstix, an online magazine for Pagan children (http://www.broomstix.com). I'll be listing the print for sale in my shop this week.

Love Is In the Air

Can you believe it? Valentine's Day is a mere month away.

To celebrate the season of all things love, we've combined three of our favorite herbal incenses into a single package:

Love - This is combination of several love-related herbs and oils, including lavender, jasmine, and yarrow. Perfect for drawing love into your life or enhancing existing relationships.

Desire - Sometimes we want to draw more than just love into our lives. This combination of sensual herbs and oils can be used to attract those that you desire to know better.

Lust - Is it hot in here or is it just us? Lust is a no-holds-barred combination of lust-related herbs, like damiana and yohimbe, combined with luscious sensual scents, including cinnamon, sandalwood, and whiskey-laced tobacco. Perfect for warming up cold winter nights with the object of your affections.

This item, as well as individual incense packages, can be purchased directly from LunaSeas... OR....If you would like to show your support to the Pagans of Etsy Street Team, this combination pack is available through our team shop: POEST Lover Be Mine Trio.

Fairy Elixirs for Your Face...

The New Year Muse has been whispering new ideas in my ears...And here they are now, crystallized into 3 new products: 3 new facial elixirs ;).

First, there's the Woodland Fairy Elixir with camellia oil, organic rosehip seed oil, raspberry seed oil & cranberry seed oil...Sounds good?! It works like (fairy) magic ;D.

Then comes the Cottage Fairy Elixir with sunflower oil, organic rosehip seed oil, melon seed oil and raspberry seed oil...This one has a sweet fruity smell and is also wonderful ;).

At last, there's the more exotic Sand Dune Fairy Elixir with sunflower oil, melon seed oil, virgin argan oil or shea oil and baobab oil...This one is nourishing, moisturizing and smells fruity too ;).

New Earrings & A Little About Crystals

I submitted these to the Pagans of Etsy shop and they are now ready for purchasing. I am finally getting back into the creating mood and starting to work with a number of Pagan/Celtic/Wiccan pendants and charms that I purchased awhile back.

The goddess earrings are sterling silver charms hanging from an arrangement of very pretty blue glass beads in multiple shapes and sizes including the flower you see here. It was really hard to give these up as 99% of the jewelry that I make I really want to keep for myself!

The pentacle earrings are sterling silver charms hanging from an arrangement of aqua colored glass beads in multiple shapes and sizes.

I have enough of both charms that if you like the earrings but think you might want a different color just let me know. Also, I am waiting on a shipment of assorted gemstones and crystals that I plan on using for future Pagan related earrings so that they have that charged energy for specific needs.

I am currently reading, which feels like studying, my crystal bibles so that I can better understand how each one energies can be used in magic, for healing, as well as their overall attributes. There are also new stones, more that are mainly manmade from China and are considered to be glass so I am also finding out what those are and whether or not to stay away or to use those in other jewelry that I am selling.

I am thinking about starting a blog for just discussing crystals and gemstones if anyone is interested, so let me know if you would be interested. I have been fascinated with them since I was a child, so my getting to know them now just feels natural and you are welcome to take the journey with me.

Brightest Blessings

had one of those days? I am

So, after updating my image to fit in the appropriate upload criteria, I then forgot to load it.

I think there's a caffeinated tea coming in my afternoon!

tarabu says hello to you!

Hello, all!
I'm working on a variety of new pieces for my shop, including a new series of bird paitings - nothing too large this time!

I'm also working on several fabric projects for the home, including headies and crib quilts.

Headies, if you're not familiar are like mini-quilts - slightly larger than a pillowcase, intended to keep your head warm and the light out while your sleeping, without being binding. They're a great hit with my family and now that the obligatory gifting holidays are over, I actually hope to sell some more of them!

And what's with the angry dude? He's one of my favourite characters from Noh theater - the lion dancer!

Through My Eyes

G'day to all! This is Susan See of Susan See Photography finally properly introducing herself here. Sorry for the delay it's just life is a bit crazy right now between maintaining my photo biz, doing the 8-5 office drudgery and moving.
Ok so let's see....I've had a camera in my hands since I was about 12 or 13 starting with a Kodak 110 and now I own two Canon SLR's, one film and one digital. My style has changed greatly over the years, evolving from shooting primarily humanity to where landscapes now fill a large part of my library. You will find that I still do shoot with 35mm film and that my shop includes black and white as well as color images. Occasionally I get a little rebellious and will even play around in Photoshop, altering an image just the slightest.
I do all my own post-processing and printing at home on a Mac computer and HP B9180 pigment inkjet printer. Pigment inks are the newest most advanced inks and guaranteed to last up to 100 years (with proper care of course!).
Hope you'll take a peek at my work and maybe even choose an image to grace your home or a loved one's!

Moonlit Beadery

Greetings! My name is Heather and I am a wife and SAHM. For a long time I have had a passion for reading and thought it would be nice to have something pretty to put in my book to keep the page. I make beaded bookmarks which can be customized in any way you would like. I also dabble in other beaded baubles but bookmarks are my passion. I am working on some new bookmarks featuring herbs and I am so excited to present them when I get them done.

I only use high quality materials in my designs such as glass seed and lampwork beads, Swarovski crystals and Beadalon beading wire. I take pride in my craftsmanship and am learning new things all the time. My bookmarks can be used as a gift for any special occasion. I recently made one for someone to use in her Book of Shadows. Stop by our shops and say hello.

)O( Blessings~
Heather

What To Wear To Those Barefeet Rituals?

I am so hoping these will be a hit in the Etsy Pagan Shop and that they will show up soon.

Take to this to the barefoot ritual or outing with you and have everyone eyeing your cool new sandal(s)! The one I made to show in the shop slips on and off easily and can be made for any size foot. This particular one fits a size 10 woman foot.
I can make one or a pair, just let me know. Cost will depend on size of foot and whether one or two are being made per order as that will determine how many beads I need for the pair.
I am also going to be adding different colors and focal beads so keep an eye out. If you are wondering, the toe loop goes over the second toe!! Pricing shown is for one sandal.

We'd Go to the Moon for You

Not really, but only because we couldn't afford a space flight! Instead LunaSeas is bringing the moon to our customers with our newest product. Moon is the latest of our herbal incenses. It combines jasmine, lotus, and lily oils together with some of our favorite lunar-related herbs. We adore it for full-moon ritual and magical workings.

Sun will be out shortly as well! Honoring that life-giving ball of gases, Sun features a unique combination of cedar and citrus scents that's reminiscent of the woods in summertime.

P.S. 2 Jan 2008 - When we said shortly, we meant it! Sun is now available in our online ship.
